Weather: Local atmosphere becomes active with changes & rainfall

KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has indicated that there is currently a partial effect of the western low-pressure system along with localized wind in Nepal.

According to the department, there are partial changes in the weather in the hilly regions of the country, while the weather in the rest of the areas remains mostly clear.

Light rainfall with thunder and lightning has been reported in some places in the hilly regions of Gandaki State.

Partial changes in the weather have been observed in the hilly regions of the country, including the Sudurpashchim and Karnali States, while the weather remains clear in the rest of the areas.

There is a possibility of sporadic light rainfall in some places in the hilly regions of Sudurpashchim and Karnali States, including some areas of Gandaki State.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in some places in the high mountainous and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim States.

Some areas in Lumbini State may also experience gusty winds.

During the night, there are partial changes in the weather in the hilly regions of the country, while the weather remains mostly clear in the rest of the areas.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high mountainous and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali States.
