Nagarik Unmukti Party to extend vote of confidence to PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: Nagarik Unmukti Party is going to give vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Ranjita Shrestha, the Chairperson of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, announced the party’s decision to offer a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal during her address in the House of Representatives on Wednesday.
Expressing the party’s support for Prime Minister Dahal, Shrestha emphasized the need for clarity amidst the nation’s current challenges.
She urged political parties to reaffirm their principles and demonstrate their commitment to progressive values.
She said, ‘Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has the support of Nagarik Unmukti Party. Today the country is facing various problems. The time has come for the government to answer those questions by standing on the foundation of the movement. Even the political parties should be able to clarify their ground and address their original and progressive consciousness.’
Chair Shrestha said that without small political parties, efforts to form a government would not be successful in the current situation.
