Elderly man dies in college bus hit in Morang’s Rangeli
Initial investigations suggest the accident was caused by the bus traveling at high speed.
KATHMANDU: An elderly man succumbed to injuries sustained in a collision involving a college bus in Rangeli Municipality-7, Morang. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, with the victim receiving treatment until his passing on Wednesday morning.
Arjun Dev, aged 72, was hit by the college bus with registration number Ko 1 K 1529, operated by Merryland College, as he was crossing the road near his residence in Ranjani, Rangeli Municipality-3.
Following the collision, Arjun was rushed to Golden Hospital in Biratnagar, where he tragically passed away at 4 AM on Wednesday.

The driver, Surya Bahadur Tajpuriya, aged 45, who operated the bus route for Municipality 5, Sijuwa, has been apprehended by the authorities for further investigation.
