Sushma, who had been missing since Feb 5, found buried
An 18-year-old girl named Sushma Lama, was discovered deceased in the forest of Shivapuri National Park within Gokarneshwor Municipality-3.
KATHMANDU: A girl’s body has been found in Shivpuri forest.
An 18-year-old girl named Sushma Lama, was discovered deceased in the forest of Shivapuri National Park within Gokarneshwor Municipality-3.
According to SP Nawaraj Adhikari of the District Police Complex, Kathmandu, locals reported the discovery of only two hands on Thursday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. Police were alerted, and they promptly secured the scene.
A team, including forensic experts and doctors, removed the body at 8 a.m. on March 8.
Sushma had been missing since 5 a.m. on Feb 5, and her relatives filed a complaint at the police circle on Feb 8.
Currently, her body is undergoing a postmortem examination at the teaching hospital.
The police have stated that further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
