Man dies in bus hit

KATHMANDU: Accident in Dang, one person lost his life in a collision with a bus.

Hari Prasad Poudel, a 40-year-old resident of Lamahi Municipality-4, succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.

The collision occurred when bus number Bhe 1 Kha 3998, traveling from Butwal to Nepalganj, collided with the East-West Highway in Bangaon, Lamahi Municipality-3 of Dang.

According to Janak Bahadur Malla, spokesperson of District Police Office Dang and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Poudel was critically injured and passed away while undergoing treatment at Lamahi Hospital.

The authorities have taken the bus and the driver involved in the collision into custody for further investigation into the incident.
