Karnali bridge caught fire, truck burnt

KATHMANDU: A fire broke out on the Karnali Bridge in Chisapani.
In addition to the truck being burnt due to the fire, some of the sticks of the bridge were also damaged.
On Monday afternoon, a vehicle carrying a lighter bearing the number Na Pa Kha 5297 on its way from Birgunj to Mahendranagar caught fire suddenly.
The driver and co-driver of the truck were rescued.
According to the local police office in Lamki, attempts are being undertaken to bring the Lamki Chuha Municipality fire department under control.
The cause of the fire has not been identified.
