Nobel held free health camp at Phakphokthum, Ilam (photos)

KATHMANDU: Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital organized a large-scale free health camp in coordination with various organizations in Phakphokthum Rural Municipality Ward No. 7, Ilam.

The camp, held on Falgun 25 and 26 (March 8 & 9), provided free health check-ups and treatment services to over 1300 patients.

Specialist doctors conducted health examinations for patients in various departments such as general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, addiction medicine, dermatology, OPD, dentistry, and ophthalmology at the health camp held in Phakphokthum Rural Municipality, Ilam.

175 individuals underwent ultrasound (video x-ray), 125 underwent E.C.G., 250 underwent laboratory tests and dental procedures of 25 while 73 patients have been referred for further treatment during the health camp.

Navin Dahal, authorized personnel from Nobel, stated that when patients referred for treatment at Novel receive treatment, they receive a 25% discount.

The inaugural ceremony of the health camp was chaired by Chhatra Limbu, Chairperson of Ward No. 7, Phakphokthum Rural Municipality.

The main guests included Dipendra Khanal, Chairperson of Thum Rural Municipality, Kalpana Rai, Vice Chairperson, social worker Harka Dhamala, and other ward members.

Under the leadership of Federal Parliament Member Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital has been coordinating with various organizations to organize free health camps.
