Traffic officer injured in Koteshwor bus hit dies

KATHMANDU: Police Deputy Inspector To Bahadur Khatri passed away following a bus collision in Koteshwar, Kathmandu.

The Valley Traffic Police Office confirmed that SI Khatri succumbed to his injuries on Sunday while receiving treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital in Maitighar Mandala.

The incident occurred on Falgun 20 (March 3) when Khatri was involved in an accident with a bus bearing registration number 3-01-005 Kha 9755, belonging to Juneli Transport.

Nawaraj Giri, the driver of the bus involved in the collision, is currently under investigation by the police on charges of manslaughter.
