3 women bound for Dubai stopped at TIA

KATHMANDU: Three women, hailing from Chitwan, Arghakhanchi, and Tehrathum, were stopped from boarding their flight to Dubai at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Authorities, acting on suspicions, prevented their departure on visit visas.

The Nepal police detained the travel agent, identified as Vabilal Thapa, allegedly involved in facilitating their journey.

Investigations suggest the agent anticipated significant profits from this arrangement, promising easy employment opportunities abroad.

Further details indicate the women were scheduled to depart via Himalayan Airlines last night.
