Singaporean authority seizes over 6.8 kg drugs

SINGAPORE: Singapore’s Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) arrested two suspected drug offenders and seized over 6.8 kg of drugs in separate operations on Tuesday, according to a statement published by the bureau.

The CNB officials seized 5,651 grams of cannabis, 975 grams of heroin, and 195 grams of “Ice,” among other drugs in the operations, with an estimated street value of about 367,000 Singapore dollars (275,000 U.S. dollars).

The seized cannabis, heroin, and “Ice” can feed 1,380 abusers for a week, the CNB added.

Investigations into the arrested suspects were ongoing.
