KATHMANDU: Authorities are currently investigating the tragic death of 14-year-old Salin Pokharel, who was found hanging in a hostel room at Shishu Niketan School in Ratnanagar Municipality-10, Chitwan.
Three suspects have been apprehended by the police in connection with the case.
However, the autopsy report has revealed that the cause of death was hanging, with no signs of rape or murder.
Despite allegations from the deceased’s family members against Warden Kamal Sharma Poudel (48), Principal Bal Hari Devkota (60), and Vice Principal Kiran Bahadur Adhikari (40), the investigation is ongoing.
Salin Pokharel was an eighth-grade student at Shishu Niketan School.
She was found hanging in a locked room, and a suicide note, believed to be hers, was discovered at the scene.
