Weather: Hilly areas experience cloudy weather, chance of light snowfall in himalayan regions

KATHMANDU: Currently, the hilly regions of Nepal, including Karnali State, are experiencing partly to mostly cloudy weather conditions.

In contrast, the rest of the country is predominantly clear.

These partly to mostly cloudy conditions are expected to persist in the hilly areas throughout the afternoon.

The Weather Forecast Division has indicated the possibility of light snowfall in some locations within the high hills and Himalayan regions.

Furthermore, there is a likelihood of light snowfall in one or two places within the highlands and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali States.

The ongoing weather patterns in Nepal are influenced by the western low-pressure system.
