Padam Giri as Law Minister from UML, Damodar Bhandari in industry
Mahaseth has been appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Physical Infrastructure.
KATHMANDU: The ministries of the ministers who will serve in the CPN-UML government have been finalized.
UML has assigned eight ministers to the new coalition government alongside UML. Raghubir Mahaseth, the party’s secretary, leads it.
Mahaseth has been appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Physical Infrastructure.
Padam Giri, who was previously sworn in as a non-departmental minister, is now the Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs.
According to UML sources, Hari Upreti will hold the Ministry of Defence, Bhagwati Chaudhary the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens and Rajendra Rai the Ministry of Water Supply.
Similarly, Damodar Bhandari will hold the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Jwala Kumari Sah will hold the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and Balaram Adhikari will hold the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
