KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSP) has decided not to join the government immediately.

JSP leaders have announced their decision to refrain from joining the government immediately, citing unresolved issues regarding their share within the alliance.

Upendra Yadav, the Chair of JSP, stated that discussions regarding government participation are ongoing.

The decision emerged after extensive deliberations during the JSP executive meeting, where it was concluded that immediate government inclusion would not be pursued.

A leader highlighted concerns over the uncertainty of Madhesh State’s government as a factor influencing the postponement of joining the government.
