Pedestrian dies in bike hit

KATHMANDU: Shambhu Karki, 55, a pedestrian, died on Monday evening in Jhapa, Jhapa Rural Municipality-4 Mangalbare, due to a collision with a motorcycle numbered (May 3 Pa 5921).

He was seriously injured in the accident and died during treatment at B&C Hospital Birtamode.

The motorcyclist has been detained by the police.

The police are conducting further investigations into the accident.
