COVID-19 vaccination campaign in Rukum Paschim
The vaccination will be carried out in Sanibheri, Banfikot, Triveni Rural Municipalities and Aathbiskot Municipality from Feb 4 to 7, Khadka said.
KATHMANDU: A COVID-19 vaccination campaign is going to be conducted in Rukum Paschim from today.
Vaccination Supervisor of Health Office in Rukum Paschim, Krishna Khadka, shared that a booster dose vaccination campaign is going to be conducted in four of the six local levels of the district. The campaign will run until Feb 7.
Prior to this, the vaccination program has been conducted in Musikot and Chaurjahari Municipalities.
The vaccination will be carried out in Sanibheri, Banfikot, Triveni Rural Municipalities and Aathbiskot Municipality from Feb 4 to 7, Khadka said.
A total of 2,290 booster doze of COVID-19 vaccine have arrived at the health service office for the four local levels of the district. The vaccine will be administered to people above 12 years of age.
In addition to this, people who previously missed the vaccination against coronavirus will also be able to get vaccinated.
The Health Service Office has said that preparations have been made to administer vaccination in coordination with the relevant local level health service branches and health volunteers.
