One held for raping a minor

Based on a complaint that Shrestha raped the girl in his own house on Tuesday, the police stationed at Belbari district police station in arrested him.

KATHMANDU: Abishek Shrestha, 22, resident of Belbari Municipality-2, Morang, was arrested by the police on Thursday afternoon on charges of raping a 17-year-old girl.

Based on a complaint that Shrestha raped the girl in his own house on Tuesday, the police stationed at Belbari district police station in arrested him.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
