Nepal’s tourism promoted in Egypt

CAIRO (EGYPT): The Embassy of Nepal in Cairo organized a tourism promotional event in Cairo on February 28.
During the event, Everest Summiteer Adriana Brownlee and Gelje Sherpa made their presentation on nature and adventurous journey in mountains.
Likewise, educationists Dr Jared Harris and Courtney Bailey shared their trekking experiences that they got during their visit to Nepal last year.
On the occasion, Nepal’s Ambassador to Egypt Sushil Kumar Lamsal shared about Nepal’s unique cultural and natural heritages, urging the tourists to visit Nepal.
Likewise, he thanked the Egyptian media for their support to expand people-to-people relations between Nepal and Egypt.
As high as 70 persons including Egyptian vloggers, social sites influences, artists, educationists, diplomats and media persons, among others were present on the occasion.
Similarly, the outstanding paintings selected from the competition “Nepal in the Eyes of Egyptian Children” were also put in display.
In the competition, some 300 Egyptian students took part and expressed their understanding about Nepal’s arts, culture, history, natural heritages and life through paintings and arts.
