KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division (WFD) in Kathmandu has noted a partial influence of western winds currently affecting Nepal.
According to their assessment, the weather remains predominantly clear in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim States.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, with partly cloudy skies anticipated in other States.
Light snowfall may occur in some high hill and Himalayan areas of Koshi and Gandaki States. Tonight, the weather is forecasted to stay mostly clear in the remaining hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki States.
The Division has advised caution due to the potential for light snowfall in specific highlands and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali States.
Daily life activities, including agriculture, health services, tourism, mountain climbing, and transportation (both road and air), may be partially affected in these areas.
