KATHMANDU: Judge Munendra Prasad Awasti, leading the bench, issues an order providing temporary relief to Min Bahadur Gurung and Sarala Ghale Gurung, halting the prompt removal of structures on Lalita Niwas land owned by Bhatbhateni Developers Pvt. Ltd.
Earlier, Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) had instructed the evacuation of government-owned Lalita Niwas lands following a Special Court ruling.
However, the full verdict in the Lalita Niwas land scam case is pending disclosure.
In response, a writ petition was filed to restrain further actions by the local authority.
