Man held for raping a 21-year-old girl

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 37-year-old Asharam Das of Dhangadhimai Municipality-1, Dhangadhi on the charge of raping a 21-year-old girl on Monday afternoon.

Based on a complaint that Das raped the girl in a mango orchard in the same municipality-10 on Sunday evening, the police stationed at Dhangadhi district police station of arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
