Woman found dead inside ward office of Bhimdatta Municipality
She was found hanged inside the meeting hall of the ward office on Sunday morning.
KATHMANDU: A woman was discovered deceased within the premises of the ward office of Bhimdatta Municipality-18, Kanchanpur.
She was found hanged inside the meeting hall of the ward office on Sunday morning.
The woman had recently entered into matrimony a few months ago, and her spouse is a constable in the Bhimdatta Municipality. They had been residing in the accommodation provided by the ward office.
The incident has been reported to the authorities in Darchula, where the relatives of the deceased are residing.
After the relatives arrived, District Police Office Kanchanpur’s Superintendent of Police Chakraraj Joshi stated that the body would undergo a post-mortem examination.
Currently, the police are examining CCTV footage from the ward office premises and questioning the deceased’s spouse.
The body was found by an individual who is on a morning walk around 4 am, and the police were notified upon discovering the body hanged.
