DOTI: More than 1,600 people received health care services from a free orthopedic surgical health camp run in Doti District Hospital for five days.
The camp concluded on Thursday provided health care services to a total of 1,685 local people along with surgeries of 77 patients.
Chief of Doti District Hospital Dr Sujat Kumar Mandal said the economically poor people who were deprived of health care services for long hugely benefited from the health camp.
Some 25 medical practitioners including Senior Orthopedic Surgeon Prakash Gyawali of Nepal Orthopedic Hospital, Kathmandu, provided treatments to the patients.
The health camp was organized by Rotary Club of Kathmandu, Nepal Orthopedic Hospital, Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality and Doti District Hospital with support from Med-solutions Foundation, Switzerland.
