National Life Insurance conducted various programs on its 37th anniversary

KATHMANDU: Today, National Life Insurance Company Limited completed its 36th year and entered its 37th year.

The company has celebrated its 37th anniversary by organizing various programs.

A special blood donation program was conducted at the company’s central office in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, with the participation of more than 50 employees from the company.

Additionally, a program to provide meals to 53 orphanages and elderly homes across the country was successfully completed.

In support of Disability Protection Nepal, 123 visually impaired individuals were provided with white canes distributed by the organization.

Nepal’s leading life insurance company, established as a pioneer, has seen robust commercial progress in the past fiscal year. With a ratio of 55:45 between the founders’ group and the general public, the company has distributed an 8% bonus share and a 6.5% cash dividend along with additional cash dividends for tax purposes to shareholders at the annual general meeting convened successfully. The company has accumulated a substantial fund of 71 billion in its life insurance reserve.

Following the distribution of bonus shares in the fiscal year 2078/79, the company’s paid-up capital stands at 5.01 billion. The company has provided its insured individuals with excellent bonus rates.

After the insurance valuation for the fiscal year 2078/79, it is pleased to inform all insured parties that the company has provided coverage ranging from a minimum of Rs 63 to a maximum of Rs 85 per thousand. The company’s branch office in Nepalgunj is on the verge of completion of its own building. With a network of 117 branch offices and 500 employees, this company has active policyholders exceeding one million.

Since its inception until the end of the fiscal year 2080, the company has earned a total premium income of Rs 102 billion and 30 crore, issuing 45 lakh 56,000 insurance policies, and making insurance claims payments equivalent to Rs 37 billion 49 crore.
