Keshar Jung Baral appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of TU
Chancellor of the University and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' today appointed Baral to the vacant post of Vice-Chancellor of the University, according to his secretariat.
KATHMANDU: Prof. Dr. Keshar Jung Baral has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University.
Chancellor of the University and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today appointed Baral to the vacant post of Vice-Chancellor of the University, according to his secretariat.
The Vice-Chancellor Selection and Recommendation Committee, chaired by Education, Science, and Technology Minister Ashok Kumar Rai, suggested Chitra Bahadur Budhathoki, Tankanath Dhamala, and Baral.
Of the 43 candidates that applied for the position of Vice-Chancellor, 14 were chosen for the presentation and interview, and three names were recommended for appointment following the presentation and interview.
It is said that the appointment was made based on educational qualifications, training, research articles, interviews, and presentations.
