EPS Korean language exams begins

KATHMANDU: The EPS Korea branch has initiated the Korean language examination starting today.

The branch located at the National Vocational Training Institute, Bhaisepati, has informed about the commencement of the examination.

The examination will be conducted in five shifts over a single day, accommodating approximately one thousand candidates, as informed by the director of the EPS Korea branch, Maiya Kadel.

“We are expecting around 47,519 candidates to take the Korean language exam in the first shift, and arrangements have been made to conduct exams on Saturday as well. The schedule for the other shifts will be decided thereafter,” she added.

Candidates have to appear for biometric registration fingerprint registration at EPS Branch, Office Gwarko one day before their respective shift begins.

Orientation on examination hall protocols will commence one hour before the examination starts.

Maiya Kadel also mentioned that participants failing to attend the orientation or arriving late for the examination will not be allowed to participate.

The office has notified that any unauthorized activities such as cheating, attempting to steal answer sheets, or engaging in any form of misconduct will result in immediate cancellation of the examination.

Additionally, such individuals will be prohibited from participating in the examination for up to four years.

For the year 2023, a total of 163,635 applications were received for production-oriented sectors in Korea.
