Press Union not to participate in Congress General Committee
Condemning the incompetence of the election committee and the decision made by misinterpreting the constitution, he has informed that there will be no institutional presence of Nepal Press Union in the general committee meeting of Nepali Congress as it is.

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Press Union, an esteemed organization affiliated with the Nepali Congress, has recently expressed its concerns regarding its representation in the General Committee meeting of the Congress.
In a statement released on Monday, the union’s president, Shiva Lamsal, raised objections to the decisions made regarding their representation. These decisions were deemed irrelevant and unauthorized, as they did not align with existing statutes, traditions, and moral values. This concern arises particularly as the new working committee has been elected and is already active following the ninth convention.
Condemning the incompetence of the election committee and the decision made by misinterpreting the constitution, he has informed that there will be no institutional presence of Nepal Press Union in the general committee meeting of Nepali Congress as it is.
He has called for unity against the undemocratic decision and a reasonable response to the attack on the dignity of the press union.
