KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stated that appropriate action will be taken after reviewing the investigative committee’s report on the minor girl incident.
Speaking at a House of Representatives meeting on Sunday, Prime Minister Dahal stated that the investigative committee had sent the report to the Ministry of Home Affairs, and he would only comprehend it today.
He stated that he has not yet read the report but will review it today, and that the Council of Ministers convening today will consider the findings and take appropriate action.
He said, “The investigation committee has submitted its report. The Ministry of Home Affairs has understood it. Today, I understand the position of the Prime Minister. So far, I haven’t seen it myself. I will see it. The cabinet meeting is scheduled for today to examine the report submitted by the investigation committee established by the government, and necessary actions will be taken afterward.”
He said that the government has taken this incident seriously and decided to give 10 lakh rupees each to the family immediately.
He also said that employment will be arranged for one person of the family.
