Nepal ‘A’ cricket team’s first match today, facing Canada at Mulpani Ground

KATHMANDU: The first of three matches between Nepal’s ‘A’ cricket team and Canada-11 is set to kick off today.
The series will commence at the Mulpani Cricket Ground from this morning.

Canada had earlier declared a 16-member squad to face Nepal, with Vinod Bhandari leading the 16-member Nepali ‘A’ team.
The Nepali ‘A’ team comprises Vinod Bhandari (captain), Ashutosh Ghiraiya, Arjun Kumal, Bashir Ahmad, Vivek Yadav, Hemant Dhami, Kiran Thagunna, Main Yadav, Pratish GC, Rasid Khan, Rijan Dhakal, Sagar Dhakal, Shahab Alam, Sandeep Jora, Sher Malla, and Sujan Thapa.
The coaching staff for the Nepali ‘A’ team includes Jyanendra Mall and Kalam Ali.
After playing three matches against Nepal, Canada-11 will stay in Nepal for practice sessions for the League-2.
