Ain Mahar resigns from CPN-UML, resignation accepted

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML central member Ain Mahar has resigned.

A statement issued by the central office confirms that the central secretariat meeting has approved his resignation.

Similarly, the resignation of Siraj Ahmat Faruqi has also been acknowledged.

Sources suggest that he has made the decision to part ways with the UML.

According to a close associate from the party’s inner circle, he faced pressure from the party following the circulation of a video showing his inappropriate relationship with a young woman, leading to his resignation.
