Lalita Niwas Land in the name of a private person to be confiscated

KATHMANDU: Landowners who purchased land in Lalita Niwas will face confiscation of their properties.

Dhan Bahadur Karki, the spokesperson for the special court, announced during a press briefing that the bench comprising Dr. Khushi Prasad Tharu, Ram Bahadur Thapa, and Ritendra Thapa has issued an order to confiscate the land belonging to 65 landowners.

Karki clarified that despite the confiscation of the land, no additional punishment or penalty will be imposed on the landowners.
