Gold prices witness decline today

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market saw a decline today (Tuesday), while silver prices remained steady.

Yesterday, the rate for Chhapawal gold, which stood at Rs 118,000 per tola, dropped by Rs 300.

As of today, the price for standard gold is Rs 117,700 per tola, while Tejabi gold is trading at Rs 117,550 per tola, as reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs 1,395 per tola.
