Mass rallies held across Iran to mark anniversary of 1979 Islamic Revolution

KATHMANDU: The 45th anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution is being celebrated in Iran.

On that day, enormous rallies were conducted throughout Iran.

Officials and military officers from throughout the country also joined the march.

In the capital Tehran, thousands marched from 13 locations to Irani Square, where Iranian President Ebrahim Raisia was dressed.

During the event in Tehran, attendees carried banners with identical inscriptions in favor of the Islamic revolution and Palestinians.

On the way to Yali, numerous indigenous missiles and a launch vehicle called Simorg were on show.
