U-19 Cricket World Cup: Australia beat India

KATHMANDU: Australia has won the U-19 Cricket World Cup. Australia won the World Cup, defeating India by 79 runs in the final on Sunday.

Chasing Australia’s target of 253 runs, India scored 174 runs in 43.5 overs, and Australia won by 79.

Australia had previously amassed 253 runs for the cost of seven wickets in 50 overs while batting first.

With this, Australia has won the U-19 Cricket World Cup for the fourth time. Previously, Australia won the U-19 World Cup in 2010.

Australia’s previous loss to India in the final was in 2018.
