KATHMANDU: Nepal’s cricket all-rounder, Dipendra Singh Airee, has departed for the UAE to participate in the IL T-20 tournament.
He recently joined the Gulf Giants team, making his entry on Thursday.
The Giants, featuring Dipendra, have competed in 9 matches thus far in the ongoing tournament.
They currently hold the second position in the standings, boasting 10 points from 5 victories and 4 losses.
With just one league match remaining, the Gulf Giants stand strong chances of qualifying for the playoffs.
Dipendra will be ready to contribute in the team’s last league match scheduled for Saturday.
