Former Speaker Mahara reached Singha Durbar for gold smuggling statement

KATHMANDU: The Gold Smuggling Investigation Commission has obtained a statement from former Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara regarding gold smuggling via an electric cigarette ‘Vape’.

He has appeared before the Commission of Inquiry into the Control of Illegal Importation (Trafficking) of Gold at Singha Durbar to make a statement about gold smuggling.

The CIB captured Mahara’s statement and submitted the investigation report to him without designating him a defendant.
