KATHMANDU: Currently underway at Baluwatar, a meeting of the ruling coalition is actively addressing crucial government concerns.

Participating in the session are leaders from diverse political factions within the ruling alliance, including the Nepali Congress, Maoist Center, Unified Socialist, Janata Samajbadi Party, and Loktantrik Samajbadi Party.

The central focus of the gathering revolves around selecting the National Assembly Chair and devising strategies to bolster the government’s efficiency in tackling urgent national issues.

A significant point of discussion pertains to the highly sought-after role of National Assembly Chair, with both the Maoist Center and Nepali Congress vying for the position.

It’s noteworthy that the Maoist Center had previously agreed to yield the position to the Nepali Congress before the recent election.
