UML MP Nembang’s health improved

KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) MP Basanta Kumar Nembang’s health is progressively improving.

His personal secretary, Ganesh Yonghang, reported that his health is steadily improving while undergoing treatment at Nepal Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur.

Even much he tried, he couldn’t talk clearly. “Only a few of his words can be understood.” Yongha stated, ‘MP Nembang’s health is steadily improving.

MP Nembang undergoes frequent physiotherapy at the hospital. Dr. Gopalaraman Sharma leads a team of doctors who are treating him, including Dr. Baburam Pokharel, Dr. Prasanna Karki, and others.

Nembang, a central member of the CPN (UML), was elected to the House of Representatives in Panchthar.

When he went to Taplejung on the Magh 17 (Jan 31), he suffered a ‘brain stroke’ and was brought to Kathmandu for treatment on the same day.
