After uncle’s arrest, President’s advisor reached to CIB

KATHMANDU: After the arrest of Ajit Narayan Thapa in the land case of Bansbari leather shoe factory, the President’s political advisor Sunil Bahadur Thapa has reached the CIB.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police apprehended Ajit Narayan on Thursday.

Ajit Narayan is Sunil Bahadur’s uncle.

He was the then-executive director who decided on ten plantings of land for the Bansbari leather industry.

Thapa, the President’s political advisor, went to the CIB as soon as he learned of Ajith’s detention.

Thapa is a Congress leader and former minister.
