Elderly man dies in bike hit

KATHMANDU: A 70-year-old Jai Prakash Regmi, a resident of the Morang, Budhiganga Rural Municipality-3, Bansbari died on Tuesday evening after being hit by a motorcycle numbered Ko 38 Pa 9937 on the road in Tanki, Budhiganga Rural Municipality-2.

He was seriously injured in the collision and died during treatment at Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital.

Police are currently searching for the absconding motorcyclist.
