UML MP Nemwang being brought to Kathmandu for treatment

KATHMANDU: Member of the House of Representatives, Basanta Kumar Nemwang, is being brought to Kathmandu for treatment after suddenly falling ill.
He reached in Phungling to attend the CPN (UML) Taplejung secretariat conference and became unwell unexpectedly.
Chair of UML Taplejung Bhupendra Thebe stated that plans are being made to fly MP Nembang to Kathmandu by helicopter.
Chair Thebe stated that the district hospital recommended that he be sent to a better-equipped facility for treatment.
Taplejung is also represented by Nemwang UML, a member of Parliament elected from Panchthar.
He reached at Taplejung from Phidim this morning.
MP Nembang was transported to nearby Tamor Hospital after abruptly being ill while on his way to the program after eating.
He was transferred to the district hospital following an initial medical evaluation at Tamor Hospital.
The secretariat meeting of UML Taplejung was called to discuss matters including the district convention.
Chair Thebe said that MP Nemwang Phungling had come for the same meeting.
