Man held for raping 19-year-old girl

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 56-year-old Chudan Bahadur Karki, resident of Bhojpur, Shadananda Municipality-8 Seming, on the charge of raping a 19-year-old girl.

Based on the complaint that Karki took the girl to Ageratina adenophora, a flowering plant known locally as banmara of the same municipality-8 Aahale Kulo and raped her on Monday afternoon, the police stationed from Dingla, district police station arrested her.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
