Chance of rain in five states, cold weather affects life

KATHMANDU: According to the Weather Forecast Division, there is a partial influence of western wind in Nepal.
As a result, meteorologists report that the weather in the country’s hilly sections is partly cloudy, while the rest of the land is mostly clear.

Light rain is possible in one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim State’s hilly terrain. There is a probability of light snowfall in a few parts of high hilly and Himalayan areas of the country.
At night, it will be partially to mostly cloudy throughout the country’s hilly regions, particularly Karnali and Sudurpaschim SXtates.
According to the division, moderate snowfall may occur in one or two locations in the high hills and Himalayan highlands of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali states.
Meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari said that at 6:00 a.m., the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley was 4.4 degrees Celsius. He claims there is no prospect of rain in Kathmandu today.
