KATHMANDU: Khagraj Bhatta, the legislative party leader of the CPN-Maoist Centre in Sudurpaschim State, has been sacked.

The majority of State Assembly members voted to alter the parliamentary party’s head and notified the State Assembly administration.

The Secretariat stated that Bhatta was replaced and Man Bahadur Dhami was chosen.

Dev Bahadur Bogati, Secretary of the State Assembly Secretariat, stated that the letter received by the Secretariat was properly implemented.

A meeting of the majority members of the State Assembly held on Friday under the chairmanship of the deputy leader of the parliamentary party Akkal Bahadur Rawal decided to remove Khagraj Bhatta and elect Man Bahadur Dhami as the leader of the party.
