The doctor gave glasses to Menuka as a ‘gift of sight’.
On that particular day, Menuka reported that she was able to read, recognize the person in front of her, move independently, and practice using the glasses.
The physician summoned all the judges and attendees to the platform and demonstrated the glasses. Menuka thanked Indian Idol and the doctor after donning glasses.
