Father dies, daughter seriously injured in Bolero-bike collision in Bharatpur
The police have taken control of both vehicles and the Bolero driver.
KATHMANDU: One person has died and one person has been injured due to the collision of Bolero in Chitwan’s Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16 Shibaghat.
The father died and the daughter was seriously injured in the accident that took place on Saturday evening.
Around 7:30 pm on Saturday, a collision occurred between a Bolero with license plate Bagmati State 03-001 Cha 1197, traveling from Sharanpur to Narayangadh, and a motorcycle with license plate Bagmati State 03-003 Pa 8624, as reported by the District Police Office Chitwan.
Madhusudhan Khatri, 41, and his 15-year-old daughter Apekshya Khatri, sustained severe injuries in the accident.
They were promptly transported to New Medical College for medical treatment.
Unfortunately, despite the medical efforts, Madhusudhan Khatri succumbed to his injuries around 8:30 pm during the treatment.
The daughter is currently undergoing medical care.
The police have taken control of both vehicles and the Bolero driver.
