One held for raping a minor

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 44-year-old Anke Lohorung Rai, a resident of Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-8 Khudi, Dhankuta on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl.

On the basis of a complaint that Rai had raped the girl in a shed located in the same rural municipality-8 Tappu Danda last Tuesday, the police stationed from the district police office Bhedetar arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
