Kathmandu’s temperature dropped to 3 degrees Celsius

KATHMANDU: According to the weather forecast division of the Department of Water and Meteorology on Thursday evening, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was 3 degrees Celsius.

This is the lowest temperature so far this winter.

Earlier, on the evening of January 8, Kathmandu’s lowest temperature was recorded at 3.2 degrees Celsius.

The lowest temperature in Kathmandu is 3.4 degrees Celsius at 6:30 a.m. on Friday.

Nepal is now seeing a minor influence of the western wind. The weather is also chilly due to the presence of cold clouds in the upper atmosphere. As a result, the winter has lasted longer than usual.
