Weather: Fog & mist in Madhesh, chances of snowfall in mountainous region

KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division reports that the westerly wind is having a minor influence on Nepal right now.

Notably, weather patterns have shifted slightly, notably in hilly places and some sections of the Terai of Madhesh and Lumbini states.

The weather is expected to be partly overcast to largely clear in the mountainous areas in the afternoon, with similar conditions across the remainder of the country.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in the upper hills and Himalayas.

As night sets, the remaining hilly areas will have partly overcast to largely clear skies.

Light snowfall is still possible in several high-altitude and Himalayan locales.

With minor precipitation expected in high peaks and Himalayan places, as well as fog in most Terai sites, the Division has warned inhabitants to take measures.

The effects might have an influence on everyday life, health, transportation, and aviation traffic.

As a result, the Division has urged to prepare for the cold weather and anticipated interruptions.
