TU introduces online access to transcripts & marksheets (with process)

KATHMANDU: Students at Tribhuvan University no longer have to visit the examination control office to obtain transcripts and marksheets.
The Examination Control Office in Balkhu has switched its services to an online system.
The office has stated that plans have been made so that the service would be available online beginning on Magh 15 (Jan 29).
The TU Examinations Office has enhanced the service in response to student concerns about not arriving on time and having to go to great lengths to obtain mark sheets and other papers for previously completed examinations.
The Nepal Students’ Association and the Independent Students’ Union have frequently conducted pressure and sit-ins in front of the TU Examination Control Office to improve its service.
Other student organizations have also been pressuring the university to improve its examination-related services.
After switching the office service to an online system, students will no longer have to rush to submit applications for documents such as marksheets and transcripts.
